Aleksandr Grin

Hello I’m Aleksandr, a student at Stevens Institute of Technology working on my Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Science in Computer Science. My education is rigorous so I like to balance it with many interesting hobbies and activities. For several years now I’ve been practicing Wing Chung Kungfu to stay active and I have recently taken up archery for fun. I also like to build and paint plastic models kits of all kinds. Occasionally, I enjoy doing some writing or drawing as well. These activities help me stay active in every area of life!

Priyanka Chaudhary

I am a graduate student at Stevens Institute of Technology pursuing MS in Information Systems with a focus on Technology Management and Data Science. Having an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering and around 7 years of software analysis and development experience, leading and implementing various large scale software solutions in the financial services and telecom industry. Skilled with various programming languages like Java, R,  and Python, my current research interest is Machine Learning. Currently I am working on Stochastic optimization for activity crashing in Project Management Project. In my free time I like to watch movies and workout to improve my physical fitness.

Jiale Qin

Jared G Hobbie
Research Assistant (Pinnacle Scholar)
Jared Hobbie is a college junior studying computer science at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has done work in the fields of virtual reality, augmented reality, and industrial design. His research interests include evolutionary algorithms, virtual reality, and digital education. In his free time he is an avid gamer, hiker, and beach goer.
Hien T Bui
Research Assistant
I was born in Hanoi Vietnam, and I graduated from High School for the Gifted in Vietnam. Since August 2017 I’ve started pursuing my bachelor degree at Stevens Institute of Technology as a Computer Science major. My research interest are Machine Learning and Scientific Programming. During my free time I often listen to music and cook.
Ethan Dy Tioco
Research Assistant (Pinnacle Scholar)
I graduated as valedictorian in my high school and am attending Stevens Institute of Technology for Computer Engineering. My research focuses on ship health monitoring. My group and I are using sensors to detect damage on a metal plate that is subject to noise vibrations. Big data analysis is an interesting part in this research that I'm excited to learn more about! I enjoy engaging in Christian apologetics and spreading the word of God, and in my spare time I like to perform on the trombone, drums, and guitar.
Dylan Walsh
Research Assistant (Pinnacle Scholar)

I am a civil engineering student in the class of 2020 at Stevens Institute of Technology. I am on the Varsity Basketball Team and enjoy many different sports. Last summer I did research involving Green Infrastructure. This summer I am doing research on Ship Health Monitoring.

Kevin Yan
Research Assistant (I&E-Schulman Scholar)

I am a Mechanical Engineering major at Stevens Institute of Technology Class of 2021. I was accepted into the research project, “Ship Health Monitoring” lead by Professor Gandomi and Professor Furth through the I&E research program where I was able to obtain Schulman Honors as well. I enjoy Computer Aided Design as well as any other field where art and engineering works interdisciplinarily. In my free time, I enjoy photography as well as sports such as basketball and rowing (crew).

Max B Milone
Research Assistant (Pinnacle Scholar)

I am from South Jersey and graduated as valedictorian of Schalick High School. I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in the class of 2022. I have previously done research at the Governor’s Institute of Technology at Rutgers University on the optimization of dams. This summer I am participating in the project “Ship Health Monitoring” in which we are using sensors to identify a crack in a metal sheet. In my free time I enjoy running and playing soccer and other sports.

Adam Coscia
Research Assistant (Pinnacle Scholar)
Hi! I'm a Stevens undergraduate student studying Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics. I love technology! As a summer research assistant, I've developed storage and analysis solutions in Python for data-driven Social Science research. Every semester, I teach Introduction to Scientific Computing using MATLAB. I am the Treasurer of Steven's chapter of the Society of Physics Students, as well as a Pinnacle Peer Advisor to 4-6 incoming Pinnacle Scholar Freshman! In my free time, I play Club Baseball for Stevens, play Alto Sax in the Stevens Jazz Band, and in the winter, teach snowboarding professionally at my hometown mountain.
